Neil Sansom has worked in Retail ecommerce for over 20 years with various International retailers including Otto, the German international business which is second largest commerce retailer after Amazon, Shell International, Kingfisher the pan European home improvements retailer and latterly he worked as Chief Executive of WoolOvers Ltd, an international knitwear brand owned by private equity. Neil has built and operated ecommerce teams in the UK and Internationally and understands the success criteria for growth ecommerce businesses. He was one of the first ecommerce and omnichannel directors to successfully move into a CEO role and lead an online business. He now runs his own ecommerce and retail consultancy working for and advising a number of retail businesses in the UK. He has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and how it will change the retail landscape and joined Apptus Technologies as an Advisory Board Member. He is also an Advisory Board Member to the IMRG, The UK’s ecommerce trade organisation.
